The notification for Air Force Common Admission Test AFCAT 02/2024 has been released by the Indian Air Force. A notification has been issued for recruitment in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non Technical) branches in the Indian Air Force.
This recruitment will be conducted for a total of 304 posts. For this, the number of posts has been determined separately according to the post. In which recruitment will be done for 29 posts of Flying Branch, 156 posts of Ground Duty Technical and 119 posts of Ground Duty Non Technical. 10% of the total posts will be filled under NCC Special Entry. Age Limit for Air Force (AFCAT) Recruitment
The age limit of the candidates applying for Indian Air Force AFCAT Recruitment 2024 has been determined in the following index. For this recruitment, age will be calculated on the basis of 01 July 2025.

Air Force (AFCAT) Recruitment Selection Process
The Indian Air Force Selection Board will conduct a written exam for recruitment, after which the merit list of successful candidates will be released. Candidates will be selected on the basis of the merit list. If the candidate is an NCC Special Entry Candidate, then the candidate will not need to give the written exam.
Air Force Recruitment 2024 Educational Qualification
- Flying Branch- The applicant should have passed 12th Science stream (Maths and Physics) with 50% marks. Along with this, should have passed BE/BTech with 60% marks.
- Ground Duty (Technical) Branch- For this also, should have passed 12th Science stream (Maths and Physics) with 50% marks. Along with this, should have passed BE/BTech with 60% marks.
- Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branch- Should have passed 12th Science stream (Maths and Physics) with 50% marks. Along with this, should be Graduate/Post Graduate from any stream with 60% marks.
Online application fees
The online application fee has been fixed by the Indian Air Force at Rs 550. The application fee will be the same for candidates of all categories. If the candidate is applying under NCC Special Entry, then he does not need to pay any kind of online application fee.
